Support for Clients' Initiatives
We are always pleased to support our clients' initiatives. We have spent years taking part in community initiatives - supporting schools, community groups and their events - mentoring and motivating young people, building community facilities and digging gardens.
It is with regret, due to family circumstances, Greenwood Consultants are not currently taking part in their usual fundraising activities. We hope to resume fundraising in the near future.
British Heart Foundation
Team Greenwood raises money to help the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to reduce the toll of cardio-vascular disease. In 2011, almost 160,000 people in the UK died of cardiovascular disease. 74,000 of these were caused by coronary heart disease - the UK's biggest killer.
Our main fundraising event for the BHF is the London to Brighton (L2B) on-road ride, which takes place each year toward the end of June. We raise
between £300 and £1,000 each year
through sponsorship by clients and colleagues.
In 2017, thanks to the generous sponsorship of clients and colleagues, we raised £345 for the British Heart Foundation.
In 2018, please sponsor our Paul Greenwood, in his sixteenth ride from London to Brighton, and help us beat the scourge of cardio-vascular disease.
AECOM 100 - RedR and EACH
Team Greenwood also takes part in the annual AECOM 100, the charity cycling event for the construction industry, which raises funds for RedR (the disaster relief charity) and EACH (East Anglia's Children's Hospices).
The event takes place on a circuit south of Cambridge, each year in May. This year, the event takes place on Sunday 13th May 2018. Register on Active.com.
